Paga is a fintech infrastructure company operating across Nigeria, enabling access to financial services for over 200 million people. The company has built a multi-sided ecosystem connecting consumers, agents, businesses, and financial institutions, and is now platformizing through Paga Engine to open infrastructure to enterprises and developers.
The Inside Sales Consultant role is responsible for managing and growing Paga's agent network while driving revenue growth. You will manage relationships with existing agents, reactivate inactive agents, and convert pre-qualified sales leads through telemarketing and consultative selling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting outbound calls to agents to assess activity, address needs, complaints, and resolve product/service issues
- Providing efficient, accurate support and solutions while ensuring agents feel valued
- Building lasting relationships based on trust and reliability through active listening and problem-solving
- Meeting and exceeding inside sales call metrics while maintaining excellent customer service
- Making product recommendations and upselling to better suit agent needs
- Using CRM tools (Freshdesk, Xcally), databases, and scripts to achieve results
- Maintaining detailed records of all communications and interactions
- Participating in training and learning opportunities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Strong experience with Freshdesk and Xcally tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and willing to test ideas quickly
