Anthropic is seeking a Solutions Architect for its Applied AI team in India to serve as a trusted technical advisor to large enterprises across India and the Asia-Pacific region. In this pre-sales role, you will help customers understand Claude's capabilities and architect innovative LLM solutions that address complex business challenges.
You will partner closely with account executives, sales, product, and engineering teams to guide customers from initial technical discovery through successful deployment. Your responsibilities include translating customer requirements into technical solutions, serving as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey, supporting both Claude API and Claude for Work implementations, and creating compelling technical content for diverse audiences—from engineering teams to C-suite executives.
You will guide technical architecture decisions, help customers integrate Claude into their existing technology stacks, develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance, and identify common integration patterns to share with internal teams. The role involves occasional travel within India and the APAC region for customer workshops and relationship building.
Required qualifications include 10+ years in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager), experience with enterprise customers in India or APAC, exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, strong cloud architecture design experience, Python proficiency, and familiarity with LLM frameworks or ML/data science background. You should be comfortable with cross-organizational collaboration, enjoy teaching and mentoring, and have a passion for safe and beneficial AI systems.
