SchooLinks is seeking an Implementation Manager to serve as the primary strategic partner for school districts throughout their onboarding and platform adoption journey. You will own the end-to-end implementation experience, translating district goals into actionable rollout plans, building trusted relationships with counselors, administrators, and CTE leaders, and ensuring stakeholders realize value from the platform quickly.
This role blends project management, K-12 education consulting, and product expertise. You'll work with districts of varying sizes and complexity, understanding how K-12 systems operate and building structure in ambiguous situations. You'll communicate confidently with superintendents, principals, counselors, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning end-to-end implementation for a portfolio of districts, managing onboarding, data ingestion, module configuration, training, change management, and continuous project oversight
- Leading kickoff and alignment sessions with district stakeholders to establish ownership structures, timelines, and success metrics
- Building phased implementation plans tailored to each district's purchased modules, grade levels, and state compliance requirements (eCap, CCRI, CCMR, and other state College, Career, and Readiness mandates)
- Conducting training sessions with district champions; expect 20-25% travel, with peaks during back-to-school season
- Maintaining implementation trackers in Gainsight and Salesforce, logging status, action items, decisions, and milestones
- Leading recurring check-in calls with district champions and executive sponsors to keep projects on track
- Proactively identifying and escalating launch risks to the Director of Implementations
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in implementation, customer success, project management, or client-facing roles, preferably in K-12 EdTech or education services
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across different clients, timelines, and configurations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to district leadership and writing clear, action-oriented follow-ups
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to build consistent processes across a varied client portfolio
