Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services company, is seeking an HR Business Partner to lead the HR function and partner strategically with the business. This role involves managing a span of 300–400 product and tech employees, working closely with business and HR leadership to implement HR strategy and drive organizational growth. Key Responsibilities: - Drive governance on critical HR metrics including retention, engagement, and cost management for a fast-paced business environment - Partner with key internal and external stakeholders (Compensation & Benefits, Staffing, HR Shared Services, and business units) in a matrixed structure - Operate independently to ensure employee satisfaction and team development - Train, mentor, and lead HR initiatives and best practices across the organization - Lead implementation of change initiatives related to culture, performance management, recognition, and policies - Promote alignment and collaboration across the organization, ensuring consistent messaging and common processes - Understand business challenges and help address organizational and people needs to support hyper-growth - Manage HR queries, issues, and escalations; participate in knowledge sessions and company events - Deploy and monitor the performance management system for all employees, ensuring process adherence - Execute engagement and retention activities - Execute central-level organizational projects This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can operate independently, manage senior stakeholders, and drive meaningful change in a rapidly growing fintech organization. Requirements: - Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a core HRBP role - Proven experience handling performance management - Ability to review and execute developmental plans for all employees - Capability to execute and implement new HR strategies - Hands-on proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, presentation skills, and HR Analytics - Understanding of HR compliance and grievance handling - Hands-on experience with digital tools and HRIS management - MBA in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification
