As an HR Specialist focused on Onboarding, you will manage the complete employee lifecycle for both Pebl's internal team and client organizations. You'll coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, working across global teams including Immigration and Payroll, while ensuring compliance with local employment law. Your responsibilities include serving as a regional expert for clients, advising on benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters while maintaining service level agreements for resolution times.
Key responsibilities include: coordinating all onboarding/offboarding activities; providing expert-level client support and managing client relationships; driving employee and client satisfaction; training new team members; managing and auditing HR records including personal information, contracts, and job-specific documentation; ensuring compliance with local employment law and collective agreements; collaborating with internal teams on knowledge base and product development; identifying potential issues and supporting root cause analysis; and contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.
You will need a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience, plus 4-6 years of HR experience. Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and professional English proficiency are required. You must currently reside in either Medellín, Colombia, or Lisbon, Portugal. The ideal candidate is research-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and tech proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Experience with ticketing systems, CRM systems, Brazilian labor law, and EOR/HR outsourcing is valued. You should demonstrate empathy, conflict resolution skills, and a commitment to international business.
