Salary: USD 180,000 - 250,000 / annual
Inferact, founded by the creators and core maintainers of vLLM, is building the world's AI inference engine to accelerate AI progress by making inference cheaper and faster. The company sits at the intersection of models and hardware—a position developed over years of deep technical expertise.
You will own, design, and scale Inferact's People Operations and HR infrastructure as the company expands. This is a high-ownership role that bridges talent acquisition through employee onboarding and serves as the operational owner for the entire employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end HR operations management: onboarding workflows, employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and immigration/visa filings
- Direct collaboration with leadership, finance, and engineering teams
- Design and implementation of HR infrastructure using modern startup tools (PEO, payroll platforms, benefits systems, ATS)
- Management of immigration and visa workflows in coordination with external legal counsel
- Building trust and strong relationships across founders, employees, and external vendors
You bring 4+ years of HR experience in fast-paced tech environments, with proven hands-on expertise in core HR infrastructure. You're comfortable operating as a strategic individual contributor in a 0-to-1 environment, balancing scrappy execution with thoughtful scaling. Experience with cross-border HR logistics, international PEO structures, or APAC HR partnerships is a plus. You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
