They're building AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools, powering 390 Fortune 500 brands. As HR Operations Specialist, you'll own the people infrastructure scaling for this high-growth, global organization. This role bridges day-to-day HR administration and HR Operations leadership, sitting above routine coordinator tasks but below HR leadership. Key responsibilities include: **HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle**: Manage complex employee changes (compensation updates, promotions, status changes, transfers, organizational changes). Partner with managers and cross-functional teams on escalations. Develop scalable workflows, documentation, and controls. **HR Systems, Data & Automation**: Design and improve HRIS workflows, automations, permissions, custom fields, and reporting. Maintain data integrity through regular audits. Build dashboards for headcount, employee changes, benefits, and People metrics. Identify and eliminate manual processes. **Finance & Benefits Operations**: Partner with Finance and payroll providers on accurate employee change reflection. Support benefits administration and improvements. Coordinate open enrollment, qualifying life events, and vendor relationships. Build controls improving payroll and benefits accuracy. **Compliance & Global Operations**: Support HR compliance across employee lifecycle, including documentation and recordkeeping. Partner with Legal on compliance initiatives. Manage state registrations and multi-jurisdiction employment requirements. Support international employees, contractors, and global employment partners. Maintain audit-ready HR records. **Process Design & Excellence**: Build HR playbooks, SOPs, and documentation. Redesign processes for efficiency and scalability. Establish clear ownership and handoffs across HR, Recruiting, Finance, IT, Legal, and managers. Create controls for high-risk processes. Use data to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions. Required: 3–5+ years HR Operations or People Operations experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. HR operations (payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, employee changes, compliance). Hands-on HRIS administration experience (Rippling a plus). Experience building/improving HR workflows. Systems orientation with HR data, reporting, and automation. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong project management skills. Ability to independently investigate and resolve issues. Discretion with sensitive information. Comfort in fast-growing environments where processes are still being built.
