Remote is a global employment platform that helps organizations recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly across 80+ countries. The company is seeking a Manager of Time & Attendance for the APAC region to lead the Lifecycle Time & Attendance team. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations and owns planning, implementation, and service delivery for the T&A function across the Asia-Pacific region. You will serve as the subject matter expert and final escalation point for complex time and attendance, wage/hour compliance, and employee relations matters in APAC jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and coaching a distributed international team with a focus on high performance and professional development - Overseeing bi-annual performance evaluations and aligning team goals with business objectives - Driving recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of the regional T&A team - Resolving complex, high-risk time and attendance cases involving wage/hour compliance and policy exceptions - Maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in sensitive employee relations matters - Fostering a positive, innovative team culture in a remote, asynchronous environment - Working toward continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through SLAs and KPIs - Advising clients on global employment compliance across multiple APAC countries Required qualifications: - Hands-on people management experience with a coaching mindset, specifically leading distributed international teams - Proven track record in HR Operations across multiple countries - Deep expertise in Time & Attendance, wage/hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes - Specialized knowledge of T&A case resolution and labor law compliance in APAC countries - Experience in fast-paced, international, scale-up environments - Service-oriented mindset with comfort working to SLAs/KPIs - Tech-savvy with experience optimizing processes and leveraging automation - Fluent English (written and spoken) - Ability to manage confidential employee data with professionalism and discretion Desired: startup/remote work experience and multilingual capabilities.
