This Manager role leads the Lifecycle Contracts Management team across the APAC region (India, Southeast Asia, and Japan). You will report to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations Contracts Management and own planning, implementation, and service-level delivery for the regional team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as subject matter expert and escalation point on contract management topics
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise direct reports to build a high-performance team
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to support team growth
- Collaborate across Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Success to execute and enhance processes, workflows, and SOPs
- Optimize team processes and identify automation opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and scale
- Champion Remote's values and team goals internally and externally
- Execute "scout to scale" initiatives, launching new capabilities and programs
Required qualifications:
- Track record in HR Operations across multiple APAC countries with deep knowledge of contracts management and labor law
- Experience scaling or managing HR Operations across diverse APAC markets with expertise in local labor compliance
- Hands-on people management experience with a coaching mindset
- Fast-paced, international, scale-up environment experience
- Tech-savvy with experience using digital tools
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Ability to safely manage confidential employee data
Preferred: startup and remote working experience. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and working in a service-level environment.
