This is a foundational leadership role that combines compliance, culture-building, and talent strategy as the India site scales. Key responsibilities span three pillars: People Strategy & Employer Brand: Own Bengaluru's positioning as an attractive destination in a competitive talent market. Partner with local leadership and Talent Acquisition to translate growth plans into hiring priorities. Co-design performance calibration, career frameworks, and promotion processes with global Talent Management teams. Bring India-specific market knowledge into benefits and rewards decisions, ensuring global alignment with local relevance. Site Leadership & Culture: Shape people and culture priorities for the site and advocate for Bengaluru within the global People organization. Build feedback loops between the site and CHRO to surface opportunities and risks early. Champion Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and represent the People function in local leadership forums. Help create a connected Bengaluru culture that reflects ServiceTitan's global values while remaining locally meaningful. HR Operations & Compliance: Own end-to-end HR compliance for Indian labor law, Shops & Establishments Act, POSH, PF/ESI, and gratuity requirements. Build scalable HR processes and systems. Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations, partnering with Legal and global PeopleOps as needed. Maintain oversight of local workplace operations, vendors, and employee-support infrastructure. Manager & Employee Development: Coach people managers on engagement, performance conversations, and career development. Champion employee growth through mentorship and local learning initiatives. Partner with leaders and global Talent Management to identify and proactively address retention, capability, and talent risks. Required qualifications: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR generalist or HRBP roles, ideally in tech/SaaS supporting global technology, product, or R&D organizations. Experience in a Global Capability Center, captive technology center, or new-site build is strongly preferred. Track record of improving employee experience, retention, and employer brand outcomes. Experience supporting organizational growth and partnering on workforce ramp and critical hiring. Deep understanding of Bengaluru technology talent market, including talent availability, candidate expectations, and compensation competitiveness. Deep, hands-on expertise in Indian labor law and statutory compliance. Experience co-designing talent programs with central Centers of Excellence and influencing global COEs. Experience managing site operations or facilities functions, or directly managing administrative staff.
