Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a Head of U.S. Government Strategy & Sales to lead the company's federal government engagement, particularly across defense and energy industrial base ecosystems. This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of policy, business development, and industrial strategy.
The successful candidate will serve as Re:Build's senior representative in Washington, D.C., shaping the company's position within national conversations on industrial base revitalization, supply chain resilience, and advanced manufacturing. They will bring a deep federal network, commercial mindset, and credibility to engage at the highest levels of government, defense, and industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Federal Opportunity Development: Originate and advance federal opportunities that translate into commercially-viable efforts and funded programs. Engage across the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and other federal agencies to identify entry points through prototype programs, public-private partnerships, and industrial base funding vehicles. Cultivate relationships with Congressional stakeholders and relevant committees to inform policy and facilitate aligned opportunities.
Washington Strategy & Thought Leadership: Define and execute Re:Build's Washington strategy, establishing the company as a credible voice in defense industrial base, energy, and domestic manufacturing policy conversations. Represent Re:Build in senior-level government engagements and industry forums. Develop thought leadership positioning the company's platform and capabilities in alignment with U.S. government priorities.
Internal Strategy & Alignment: Serve as the primary bridge between Re:Build's Washington presence and internal leadership, translating government priorities into actionable investment and capability decisions. Inform the company's investment strategy relative to government demand and federal funding priorities. Ensure alignment between evolving capabilities and government customer needs.
Ecosystem & Partner Engagement: Build and maintain a high-value network across defense, policy, prime contractors, and industrial base partners. Identify and develop strategic partnerships that extend Re:Build's reach and relevance in the federal market. Represent Re:Build as a mission-aligned partner to government and industry stakeholders.
