Datadog is seeking an experienced Senior Partner Manager to build and accelerate growth with top security-focused channel partners across APAC. This role focuses on driving new customer adoption and revenue through strategic channel partnerships in the cloud security space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own relationships with Datadog's top cloud security-focused channel partners
- Drive net new and expansion revenue through established and strategic security partners
- Recruit and onboard new security-focused partners aligned with Datadog's Ideal Partner Profile
- Oversee partner agreement processes and collaborate with legal as needed
- Develop partner-led insertion points, including solution and services offerings
- Enable and activate partners through training, planning, and joint selling activities
- Coordinate technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches
- Host regular business reviews with partners to drive accountability and report on success metrics
- Generate partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of partner-facing, quota-carrying experience in cyber security and/or cloud security SaaS
- Proven track record driving sales opportunities from lead generation through closure
- Experience negotiating agreements and building long-lasting partnerships
- Understanding of and exposure to leading cloud hyperscalers
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them verbally and in writing
- Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for taking initiatives from ideation to impact
- Experience in identifying market opportunities and initiating go-to-market plans
- Background in SaaS and/or consumption-based software platforms
- Experience with systems management, monitoring, containers, or DevOps in cloud environments
- Technical background or education
Datadog operates as a hybrid workplace. Variable commissions comprise 40% of on-target earnings.
