Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. As Head of Strategic Planning, you'll lead a small team supporting the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team to drive strategy, planning, and operational excellence across a global marketing organization.
You'll translate business priorities into clear plans, goals, and roadmaps across marketing functions and regions. Key responsibilities include: leading the marketing operating rhythm (planning cycles, leadership meetings, business reviews, goal tracking); owning the annual marketing budget by function and region; driving the marketing campaign planning process; improving operational excellence through structured processes and documentation; supporting talent development and performance management; championing AI-driven change and technology adoption; and acting as a connector across Product, Commercial, Finance, Data, and People teams.
You'll identify and structure problems, analyze options, and drive clear recommendations to help the team capitalize on opportunities. You'll prepare Board updates, manage dependencies on cross-functional initiatives, and strengthen data-led decision-making by synthesizing insights and performance metrics to inform priorities.
