Novig is building America's leading sports prediction market, recently designated by the CFTC as a market in record time. The company has raised over $100M from top-tier investors including Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana.
As Head of Social, you will own Novig's complete social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Meta, Reddit, and Discord. This is a strategic and hands-on role that combines content strategy, editorial direction, community management, and real-time execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting editorial direction and content pillars across all social platforms
- Managing and developing a team of internal social sports journalists, producers, and contributors
- Establishing Novig's brand voice and ensuring consistency across all channels
- Running editorial planning sessions, series mapping, and format ideation
- Analyzing performance data across platforms and making strategic decisions on what to scale or cut
- Executing in real-time during live events, breaking news, and cultural moments
- Collaborating with Design and Creative teams to extend the Novig design system
- Partnering with the Partnerships team to integrate creators, affiliates, and pro teams into content
- Owning the social tech stack, data feeds, alerts, automations, and workflows
- Developing original programming, series, and franchises that position Novig as a cultural force in sports
This is not a calendar-and-approvals role. You'll write posts, brief edits, and ship content yourself when needed. The ideal candidate thinks like a creator first and a manager second, with the ability to react hourly rather than daily while building systems that compound over time.
The role is based in Union Square, NYC, with potential for nights and weekends during live sports events. The environment values speed, ownership, and minimal process—if you need clear swim lanes or heavy approval structures, this may not be the right fit.
