The company's mission is to make e-mobility accessible while building the largest and highest-quality e-bike range through sourcing and reconditioning. As Head of Sales - US, you will lead the B2B Sourcing team responsible for securing high-quality second-hand e-bikes from professional partners across the country. This is a pivotal role driving Upway's growth through strategic partnerships and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include: • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing B2B sourcing team, establishing a culture of excellence and accountability. • Unlock and develop key retail partners and buying groups through effective negotiation and long-term relationship building, fostering commercial partnerships that drive sustainable growth. • Define comprehensive B2B sourcing strategy for the US market, including bike shop portfolio management, partner tiering, allocation frameworks, and field cadence. • Own team performance optimization by tracking and improving KPIs such as bikes sourced, portfolio growth, and activity rates. • Lead deployment of new partnership services (pickup, dropoff, maintenance) and co-design partner communications including newsletters and point-of-sale materials. • Design and implement scalable sales processes, CRM workflows, and operational frameworks to support team growth and efficiency. You bring 4+ years of B2B Sales or Business Development experience, with a strong "Sales DNA" from FMCG, SaaS, or field sales backgrounds. Ideally, you have 2+ years of management experience with exceptional coaching and leadership principles. You are strategic in prioritizing team efforts based on quantitative and qualitative insights, and you thrive in the field—willing to travel 25% of the time across the US (higher frequency in the first six months). Native English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus. Most importantly, you have genuine passion for cycling and the e-bike industry, enabling you to build authentic trust with enthusiast partners.
