Aspire is a Series C fintech company building a financial operating system for global founders and businesses. The platform integrates banking, software, and automation to help companies manage finances across borders. Aspire serves 50,000+ startups and is backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed.
You will lead Aspire's US market entry as Head of Sales, reporting directly to the Global Head of Sales. This is a player-coach role combining hands-on revenue responsibility with team building. You'll own the US outbound revenue target from day one while building a high-performing sales team from scratch.
Key responsibilities include: carrying direct accountability for US outbound targets and running your own deals; hiring and ramping a team of top-tier outbound Account Executives; setting performance standards and coaching reps on prospecting, discovery, and full-cycle execution; defining territory, segmentation, and outbound playbooks for the US mid-market; and collaborating with Marketing, Product, and RevOps to refine ICP targeting based on field insights.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, including time as an outbound AE carrying quota and building pipeline, plus proven success building and leading sales teams with direct accountability for team revenue targets. SMB or mid-market sales experience is essential. Background in B2B Payments, Spend Management, or B2B Fintech SaaS is preferred. The target customer profile is businesses with 50–1,000 FTEs and global footprint; you'll sell to Founders, CFOs, and Finance leaders through outbound new-logo acquisition.
Success metrics include consistently hitting and exceeding US revenue targets quarterly, building a ramped and high-performing founding AE team with scalable talent standards, developing a repeatable outbound playbook for SMB and mid-market Founders/CFOs, and fostering genuine team engagement and accountability. As the US business scales, you'll expand into broader GTM orchestration across channels.
