RevenueCat is the default monetization platform for mobile apps, processing $12B+ in annual purchase volume and powering in-app subscriptions for over 40% of newly shipped subscription apps. The company is remote-first with 150+ employees across 25+ countries, backed by Y Combinator (S18 batch).
As Head of Sales, you will build and lead the commercial organization responsible for converting RevenueCat's market position, product signals, and customer demand into revenue. You'll lead Account Executives and Sales Engineering teams, unifying them into a high-performing function. The role requires setting functional strategy, developing talent, owning forecasting and results, and personally advancing important opportunities without becoming a bottleneck.
RevenueCat currently holds ~90% market share in the app monetization platform category but only powers ~25% of in-app revenue globally—the majority of apps still build this themselves. Your mission is to demonstrate why RevenueCat's platform is superior, not just to close deals but because you genuinely believe it helps developers make more money.
Key responsibilities include: owning sales goals, metrics, operating cadences, headcount, budget, and performance standards; building a multi-motion sales system that handles strategic enterprise, mid-market, product-led, outbound, partner, and regional opportunities; creating qualified pipeline beyond inbound through focused account and outbound programs; closing coverage gaps by ensuring high-potential signals result in named owners and intentional next steps; hiring and developing exceptional talent; remaining close to customers through weekly conversations; establishing useful forecasting practices; driving cross-functional collaboration with Customer Growth, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, Revenue Operations, Product, Engineering, and Support; and turning deal patterns into better playbooks and team training.
You'll work with strong foundations already in place: existing Account Executives, Sales Engineers, product and usage data, a respected brand, Growth Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Product, Finance, and Customer Growth teams. The role is about orchestrating these ingredients into a successful, scalable Sales function that avoids becoming a generic "spray and pray" factory.
