As Head of Retail Relationships, you will be Axi's senior sales leader for the retail and partner business across the UK, EU and LATAM, based in Cyprus. You will own the full client lifecycle—from acquisition and activation through to retention and reactivation—while leading a high-performing, multi-lingual sales team. You will be responsible for delivering sustainable growth across funded accounts, net deposits, revenue and active clients, while maintaining the highest standards of client outcomes, conduct and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
**Sales Leadership & Performance**: Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-lingual sales team across acquisition, retention and account management. Build effective sales processes, playbooks, incentive structures and team development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity and continuous improvement.
**Client Growth & Retention**: Drive FTD, net deposit, revenue and active-client growth across the UK, EU and LATAM. Develop acquisition, outbound, retention and reactivation strategies across Retail, High Value, SME/Institutional and White Label segments. Use client and CRM insights to improve conversion, retention, reactivation and lifetime value. Partner with Marketing, Onboarding, CX and other teams to improve lead quality, onboarding and the overall client experience.
**Partner & Commercial Management**: Develop and manage IB, affiliate and White Label partnerships across key markets. Identify and onboard strategic partners and negotiate commercial terms within approved frameworks. Monitor partner performance, quality, ROI and regulatory compliance. Represent Axi at relevant industry events, expos and partner meetings.
**KPIs, Reporting & Commercial Operations**: Establish and monitor KPIs covering leads, conversion, FTDs, net deposits, revenue, trading activity, retention, reactivation and client activity. Maintain strong CRM discipline, sales reporting and forecasting. Manage team budgets, cost of acquisition and contribution to regional P&L. Use CRM, telephony and BI tools to identify opportunities and continuously improve sales performance.
**Risk, Compliance & Client Outcomes**: Ensure sales activity complies with applicable FCA, CySEC/MiFID II, ESMA and international regulatory requirements. Ensure correct client entity, cross-border servicing, financial promotions, appropriateness and risk requirements are followed. Promote fair, clear and compliant client communications and good client outcomes. Work closely with Compliance, Risk and other stakeholders on complaints, AML/CTF, vulnerable clients and regulatory matters.
The role offers hybrid working, private health insurance, 21 days annual leave plus study, volunteer and sick leave, extensive learning and development opportunities, and clear career progression into broader Commercial leadership positions.
