Coder is building AI Development Infrastructure—software that enables enterprises to safely deploy autonomous AI workflows while maintaining full visibility and control. The company is creating a new category at the intersection of AI and developer tools, and seeks a Head of Product Marketing to define and scale the company's market narrative. In this role, you'll serve as a player-coach who translates complex AI infrastructure technology into clear, credible stories for enterprise technical decision-makers. You'll evaluate and refine Coder's positioning within enterprise AI transformations, building visual frameworks that communicate product architecture to DevOps, platform, and security leaders. You'll drive alignment across Sales, Product, and Customer Solutions to identify and operationalize emerging use cases in agentic development. You'll grow the Product Marketing function while providing strategic guidance on scaling thought leadership, developer relations, and enablement. This includes developing a unified technical content strategy that connects product capabilities to customer needs and market opportunities, strengthening Coder's credibility with technical audiences. Key responsibilities include: refining messaging and positioning for enterprise cloud-native and AI infrastructure audiences; partnering cross-functionally to identify use cases; building and mentoring a growing Product Marketing team; developing technical content that resonates with developers, security leaders, and executives; and representing the company externally through presentations and analyst conversations. You'll need 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, fluent in enterprise cloud-native technologies and AI infrastructure, and has a proven track record leading Product Marketing teams. Exceptional technical communication skills are essential—you must distill complex concepts into memorable stories and be comfortable presenting live internally and externally. You should be willing to travel 1-2 times per quarter. Bonus experience includes hands-on work with AI coding agents and emerging developer tools, as well as proficiency in open-source and self-hosted ecosystems.
