SmartSuite is a fast-growing SaaS company that provides a no-code work management platform enabling teams globally to streamline business processes, projects, and workflows. The platform integrates databases, task management, automation, dashboards, collaboration tools, and generative AI capabilities into a unified workspace, serving organizations from startups to Fortune 500 companies across 100+ countries. As Head of People, you will lead the human resources function for the organization during a period of significant growth and expansion. This is a director-level role responsible for building and scaling the people operations infrastructure, culture, and talent strategy. You will own all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and organizational development. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract world-class talent; designing and implementing HR policies, processes, and systems that support company growth; fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture aligned with company values (innovation, collaboration, customer success, integrity); managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with employment law; partnering with executive leadership on organizational planning and strategic initiatives; and building a high-performing people team. You will work closely with the executive team to shape company culture and ensure people strategy supports business objectives. This role requires someone who can balance operational excellence with strategic thinking, who understands SaaS company dynamics, and who is passionate about building great teams and inclusive workplaces. The ideal candidate has significant HR leadership experience, ideally in a growth-stage technology company, with a track record of building scalable HR functions from the ground up.
