Halter is a climate-tech company enabling farmers and graziers to run productive and sustainable operations through innovative grazing management technology. The company is backed by tier-1 investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and DCVC, with headquarters in New Zealand and expanding operations globally. You will lead Halter's marketing function for the US market, driving full-funnel revenue performance across acquisition, expansion, and retention. This is a strategic leadership role accountable for regional marketing strategy, budget, and outcomes—not a tactical execution role. You'll build recognition for Halter's brand across ranching communities while delivering measurable revenue impact. Key responsibilities include: owning the regional marketing strategy and budget end-to-end; building and leading a high-performing marketing team; driving organic growth, brand equity, and content initiatives; managing demand generation and pipeline contribution; collaborating closely with go-to-market leadership on strategy and execution; and leveraging global marketing frameworks from HQ while adapting them for regional market dynamics. You'll work in tight collaboration with Halter's global marketing team based in New Zealand, receiving brand frameworks and strategic guidance while maintaining full accountability for US market outcomes. The role requires thinking like a revenue owner first, marketer second—you'll be measured on pipeline and revenue contribution, not vanity metrics. Ideal candidates are full-funnel revenue thinkers with experience owning acquisition, expansion, and retention outcomes across B2B or B2C growth environments. You're deeply customer-led, comfortable spending time with end-users (ranchers) to inform strategy, and translate customer insights into commercial decisions on messaging, proof points, and channels. You're a world-class operator who can build and scale teams while remaining hands-on; genuinely commercial and data-driven; and comfortable with ambiguity and first-principles thinking. You operate with AI as a default mode, using it to draft and iterate content, personalize outreach at scale, and analyze funnel data faster than traditional approaches. You're equally strong in brand strategy and demand generation, moving fluidly between tone-of-voice and CAC/ROI conversations.
