Rosie is reimagining care for families and caregivers by creating a new category: flexible, on-demand childcare and household support bookable by the hour, powered by a vetted network of professionally trained caregivers. The company is building infrastructure for modern family life where parents book care as easily as texting a friend, caregivers build real careers, and home support feels normal.
As Head of Marketing, you will own Rosie's brand and growth strategy from the ground up. You'll define how Rosie sounds and feels across all touchpoints, decide who hears about the company, and drive how families and caregivers become evangelists. The role spans strategy and execution: you'll set positioning, build the growth engine, and then hire the team to scale both.
Key responsibilities include: owning brand and positioning across all channels; developing and protecting the narrative for press, investors, and stakeholders; running the full growth engine across paid, organic, content, lifecycle, partnerships, and events; managing acquisition economics (CAC, LTV, payback) for both sides of the marketplace; creating demand and awareness plays for new city launches; establishing measurement, attribution, and experimentation discipline; and building the marketing team.
You'll be a brand builder who shapes cultural company identity and understands the difference between copy that converts and copy that differentiates. You're a two-sided storyteller who can hold distinct narratives for parents and caregivers simultaneously. You're a growth operator comfortable owning full funnels and knowing which metrics matter. You've led teams but remain hands-on—writing ads, briefing designers, and setting up campaigns yourself. You're category-minded, able to create demand for new behaviors before search intent exists. You make confident decisions with partial data and create clarity for others. You operate with real ownership, treating budgets and mission as your own.
Required: 7+ years of marketing or growth experience, including time leading the function or a major channel. Track record owning both brand and performance at a consumer company. Hands-on fluency across paid, organic, content, and lifecycle. Strong writing and editorial judgment. Comfort with analytics, attribution, and funnel reporting. Ability to work from Seattle on a hybrid basis or remotely with quarterly travel.
Preferred: 0→1 or early-stage go-to-market experience; background in consumer marketplaces, two-sided platforms, or parenting/care products; track record creating new categories or driving new consumer behaviors; openness to starting fractional and growing into full-time founding role; comfort with AI tools for content, testing, and audience research.
This is offered as fractional-to-full-time, allowing senior operators to start part-time while getting to know the company and problem. As Rosie grows, the role grows into a full-time founding leadership position. Compensation includes salary/retainer plus competitive equity with a real seat at the table.
