Improbable is building a next-generation blockchain infrastructure designed for real-time, large-scale applications. The technology overcomes speed and cost limitations of traditional blockchains, is fully EVM-compatible, and enables developers and communities to build immersive products with greater ownership and interoperability. The ecosystem includes a first-party DEX, prediction markets protocol, and several upcoming products. As Head of Marketing, you will be the venture's most senior marketing leader, reporting directly to the CEO and joining the leadership team. You own all marketing strategy and execution across the Layer 1 blockchain and its product portfolio. Key responsibilities include: setting marketing and growth strategy with clear priorities and targets across all products; driving product adoption through measurable acquisition, activation, and retention programs for traders, developers, partners, and the Web3 market; defining the venture's narrative and creating positioning and go-to-market plans for each product launch; and building a high-performing marketing function with clear accountability. This is a player-coach role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will set strategy, build and lead the team, and remain close enough to the work to sharpen positioning, challenge campaigns, and lead important launches yourself. You bring senior marketing leadership experience across both Web2 and Web3 environments. You understand the structured, data-led approach to marketing found in fintech or traditional finance, and have applied that experience within Web3 (DeFi, DEX, Layer 1/2). You have end-to-end ownership experience with positioning, go-to-market, and growth; demonstrated success increasing users, trading volume, revenue, or market share; strong understanding of acquisition, activation, and retention mechanics; experience leading teams while remaining hands-on; and the ability to use data to prioritize decisions and measure results.
