Gumloop is hiring a Head of Marketing to lead the function through its next stage of growth. The company provides AI infrastructure that enables organizations to build, deploy, and manage AI agents securely within their own cloud environments. Customers include Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor. The company has raised over $70M from top-tier investors including Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, and Nexus Ventures.
In this role, you will set Gumloop's marketing strategy and translate company priorities into a focused roadmap with clear success metrics. You'll own the ideal customer profile, category positioning, narrative, and brand identity. Key responsibilities include leading planning for major product launches with messaging tailored to both individual users and enterprise buyers, coordinating product marketing, brand, content, growth, and demand generation teams around shared priorities, and partnering with Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer Success to leverage customer feedback and performance data.
You will establish the operating cadence for the marketing function, make budget and resource allocation decisions, and build and develop the marketing team while personally leading high-impact work. The role requires strong judgment in customer segmentation, positioning, and messaging, with the ability to translate innovative technical products into clear, differentiated stories. You'll support enterprise sales motions and work alongside founders and cross-functional leaders with sound operating judgment.
Ideal candidates bring experience leading marketing at high-growth B2B software companies with demonstrated impact on company growth, a track record of building and managing multidisciplinary marketing teams, and broad expertise across product marketing, brand, content, growth, and demand generation. Experience marketing AI, automation, developer tools, or technical products is a plus, as is experience building or reshaping marketing functions during rapid growth periods.
