Salary: EUR 53,000 - 63,000 / annual

Enpal is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the Italian marketing team (7 FTE) and own the entire marketing function for the Italian market. This is a strategic leadership role with primary focus on B2C acquisition and growth, alongside cross-functional collaboration on B2B initiatives and external partnerships. You will be responsible for balancing volume, quality, and cost of acquisition, directly connecting marketing decisions to commercial and business results. The scope encompasses performance marketing, CRM/email, organic growth and discoverability, data & analytics, creative production, brand management, and martech. Key Responsibilities: Business, Growth & Strategy: Own acquisition and growth targets for the Italian market, balancing volume, quality, and cost. Define marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and translate it into executable priorities, plans, and roadmaps. Manage an annual budget of €X million with full responsibility for planning, forecasting, allocation, and ROI. Define and monitor end-to-end KPIs connecting performance marketing, sales funnel, and business results. Present results, trade-offs, risks, and action plans to the management team. People Leadership: Guide, develop, and evaluate a team of 7 people with clear objectives, accountability, and growth paths. Evolve team structure, competencies, processes, and operating model based on business priorities. Build a culture of experimentation, feedback, ownership, and continuous learning. Manage hiring and talent development with rapid intervention on competency or performance gaps. Performance Marketing & Paid Media: Define paid acquisition strategy across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant channels. Guide continuous optimization of campaigns, budget allocation, creative, audience, and funnel. Challenge the team on key performance levers without requiring daily operational management of each platform. Data, Measurement & Commercial Performance: Oversee tracking, attribution, and measurement (GA4, GTM, CRM) aligned with Sales and Finance definitions. Guide investments in CAC, CPL, conversion funnel, lead quality, ROAS/payback, cohort analysis, and revenue impact. CRM, Lifecycle & Creative: Supervise CRM/email marketing strategy and lifecycle marketing levers. Ensure quality, speed, and effectiveness of creative production with a structured test-and-learn approach. Maintain consistency of tone of voice and messaging across the customer journey. Organic Growth & Discoverability: Oversee SEO strategy and organic growth initiatives. Monitor brand discoverability on traditional and generative search engines, including relevant GEO/LLM visibility practices. Brand & Positioning: Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints. Manage competitive positioning, proposition, and messaging for the Italian market, translating market insights into concrete decisions. Martech, AI & Vendor Management: Select and manage tools, platforms, agencies, and external partners. Identify and implement concrete AI use cases to improve analysis, creativity, automation, execution speed, and team productivity. Evaluate new technologies based on real impact on effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with B2B and external partnership teams on shared initiatives. Serve as marketing reference point for internal stakeholders and coordinate effectively with HQ. Requirements: Must Have: - Fluent Italian and English - 7+ years of marketing experience with strong performance marketing, acquisition, or growth component - Proven experience managing and developing teams for at least 2–3 years - Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets, defining marketing strategies, and achieving growth targets - Strong commercial mindset: ability to connect marketing metrics to lead quality, conversions, revenue, and economic results - Solid familiarity with major digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta) and ability to challenge strategy and execution without requiring daily operational management - Familiarity with analytics/tracking tools (GA4, GTM), CRM, and attribution/measurement logic - Strong leadership capability, strategic thinking, and prioritization in complex, fast-paced environments - Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders including Sales, Finance, and HQ - Strong AI fluency: regular use of AI tools for analysis, creativity, automation, and productivity, with ability to identify and implement concrete use cases within the team
