Mach9 Robotics is seeking its first Head of Growth to build and scale the marketing function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with founders, the Head of Sales, and product leadership, you will own all aspects of growth strategy and execution for Mach9's AI CAD software targeting infrastructure design, survey, build, and operations organizations.
Key responsibilities include defining growth strategy and pipeline goals, establishing how marketing contributes to qualified pipeline creation and revenue generation. You will own the full marketing funnel—from demand generation across proven channels (LinkedIn, webinars, events) and new channels (paid ads, partnerships) to product launches, sales enablement, and customer advocacy programs. You'll develop go-to-market campaigns for new products, partner closely with sales on coordinated campaigns and conversion optimization, and build customer stories and expansion initiatives.
You will build and lead a high-performing marketing team, starting with a current 3-person team and expanding through a mix of internal hires, agencies, contractors, and specialists. This is a hands-on operator role where you'll personally drive critical initiatives while setting strategy and managing team growth.
Required experience includes 5+ years in B2B demand generation, revenue marketing, or growth with measurable pipeline impact and increasing responsibility. You should have startup operating experience joining an early-stage company, building the marketing function, and scaling to $25M+ ARR. Hands-on account-based marketing experience in partnership with sales is essential. You bring a player-coach mindset—able to set strategy, hire and manage, and stay close to execution. AI fluency is required: you're a power user of AI tools for research, content creation, and automation, with experience building workflows in Zapier, n8n, or Clay, and using AI-assisted coding tools to create landing pages and experiments.
