Crowd Cow is a profitable, mission-driven company that sources premium meat and seafood directly from farms and fishermen, shipping to subscribers who care about provenance and quality. The company is now adding growth DNA to accelerate customer acquisition. As Head of Growth, you'll report directly to the CEO and own the strategy and execution of new customer acquisition. Your core mission is to identify where meat enthusiasts and your target customers naturally congregate—both online (niche forums, communities, social platforms) and offline (events, groups, gatherings)—and build real, viral momentum in those spaces. You'll own the full acquisition funnel, starting with organic channels (the highest-quality growth signal) before scaling into paid media. Your responsibilities include: • Organic and community growth: referral programs, community building, influencer partnerships, field marketing, and novel channel creation • New-channel experimentation: rapidly test new acquisition channels, kill what doesn't work, and systematize what does into repeatable playbooks • Paid media scaling: manage Google, Meta, and Amazon Marketplace campaigns once organic validates, with disciplined CAC and payback-period metrics • Acquisition economics: own CAC, payback period, and LTV analysis to ensure unit economics remain healthy You'll work closely with the Content Marketing Manager (storytelling and lifecycle) and Marketing Manager (email, SMS, merchandising, product segmentation) in an AI-native culture where the team builds with AI daily. Success means establishing Crowd Cow as a nationally recognized destination for craft meat enthusiasts. You'll have a direct line to the CEO, the mandate to build your own playbook, and the autonomy to experiment rapidly. The role requires 3 days per week in the Seattle headquarters. The company values mission alignment, thoughtfulness, testing discipline, and taste. You're joining a collaborative, passionate team with a proven track record of operational excellence and fiercely loyal customers.
