Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is seeking a Head of Executive Communications to lead the executive communications program, partnering directly with the CEO and Co-founder to build and sharpen their voice internally and externally. The role is responsible for crafting, refining, and stewarding the CEO's voice across all channels and formats—from keynotes at customer conferences to social media posts, internal employee communications, and investor relations messaging.
You will serve as a trusted counselor and thought partner to the CEO, defining communication priorities, messaging platforms, and narrative strategies. Key responsibilities include leading all types of content creation (presentations, videos, long-form content, social media), seamlessly switching between audiences (customers, employees, investors, industry), and actively integrating AI tools into daily workflows for research, iteration, and organization. You'll manage how the CEO prepares for and delivers messages at key events, and partner closely with internal communications, customer marketing, IR, and cross-functional leaders.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting a C-suite executive (ideally a CEO or founder), with exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills. You should be comfortable translating complexity across multiple products and industries into coherent narratives, possess strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust with senior leaders, and demonstrate a data-driven storytelling mindset paired with disciplined execution. Experience at a publicly traded company and familiarity with physical AI, fleet, logistics, construction, or technology for the physical world are valued. This is a fully remote position open to US-based candidates.
