Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, is seeking a Head of Corporate Finance to build and lead the financial planning engine for one of the fastest-scaling defense companies. This is an operating and decision-making role that sits at the intersection of corporate finance, division finance teams, and the C-suite. You will own Anduril's financial model, including the annual operating plan and forecast rhythm across every business unit and functional organization. You'll partner closely with the CFO and senior finance leadership on major strategic and tactical decisions, and hire, lead, and develop a team of FP&A and business-partner finance professionals across corporate and business units. Key responsibilities include turning the plan into headcount, capital, and cash targets that leaders can manage against; collaborating with Production Finance on capacity decisions including facility build-outs and capital requirements; building Board and investor materials including quarterly reporting packages and KPI dashboards; running monthly C-suite business reviews; and raising the standard of financial rigor across the company in preparation for public-company reporting discipline. You'll influence decisions around capital deployment, including which programs and R&D initiatives to pursue and production capacity build-out. The role requires strong command of hardware/product economics, including unit cost, gross margin, inventory, working capital, and cash implications of building physical products. You'll work with Accounting on the close, Treasury on liquidity, and Division Finance on business operating rhythms. Required qualifications include 15+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A leadership at companies scaling through significant growth; ownership of full planning cycles including long-range planning, annual operating planning, and rolling forecasts; strong hardware/product economics knowledge; experience preparing materials for C-suite, Board, and investors; proven ability to hire and develop finance teams; and U.S. Person status with eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Preferred experience includes manufacturing or industrial finance, IPO readiness or public-company reporting exposure, and investment banking or private equity combined with operating experience.
