Lightfield is an AI-native CRM that automatically assembles customer relationship data from email, calendar, and meetings. The company has achieved rapid adoption with over 5,000 users since launch in November 2025, backed by top-tier investors including Greylock, Lightspeed, and Coatue. The founding team previously built Tome (25M+ users) and worked on foundational AI and social products at Meta, Google, Pinterest, and Salesforce. As Head of Content, you'll build the content function from the ground up, reporting directly to the Head of GTM. This is a high-impact, multi-faceted role spanning founder thought leadership, customer storytelling, SEO/AEO, newsletters, and creator partnerships. Key responsibilities include: serving as the engine behind founder voices in the market by creating a sustainable process for posts, essays, podcasts, talks, and video content; building a repeatable pipeline for customer success stories across multiple formats; owning both traditional SEO and AI-engine optimization (AEO) to ensure Lightfield appears accurately in AI-generated answers; scaling a creator program that builds genuine relationships with influential operators and practitioners; establishing content standards, editorial calendars, and distribution playbooks; managing contractors and agencies to scale output while maintaining quality; and partnering with growth marketing to align content strategy with pipeline impact. You'll be an exceptional writer and editor with range across founder voice, technical explainers, customer narratives, and newsletters. You have ghostwriting experience and can extract points of view from busy founders efficiently. You understand modern distribution channels—social, newsletters, communities, creators, search, and AI answers—and have shipped serious SEO work. You're AI-native in your workflow (research, drafting, repurposing, analysis) while maintaining high quality standards. You operate comfortably at early-stage pace with ambiguity and high standards, and you're genuinely passionate about startups and how AI is reshaping GTM. Nice-to-have qualifications include 6+ years in content marketing, editorial, or journalism; experience at technical product companies or in developer/data/AI spaces; creator or influencer program experience in B2B; video and short-form production skills; and published examples of how AI answers should cite sources.
