H Company is building an agentic AI platform that operates directly on computer interfaces, enabling enterprises to automate complex processes through AI agents. The company is seeking a Head of Community to build and lead its developer and builder community from the ground up. This is a strategic, high-ownership role at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and the external developer ecosystem. You will define H's global community strategy and roadmap, identify and attract developers, researchers, founders, and technical creators, and build channels (Discord, GitHub, social platforms, events) where the community lives. Key responsibilities include: creating programs that turn users into contributors and advocates; developing relationships with influential developers and researchers in the AI ecosystem; building a network of ambassadors and early adopters; representing H at conferences, hackathons, and developer events worldwide; establishing H as a leading technical brand in agentic AI; defining community KPIs and reporting; and hiring and developing a community team as the function scales. You'll need 8+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Experience, Community, Developer Marketing, or related technical roles, with proven experience building a technical community from 0 to 1. Strong technical credibility is essential—you should be comfortable reading and writing code, working with APIs and SDKs, and engaging naturally with software engineers. You'll need excellent communication skills, experience creating technical content and organizing developer events, and a deep understanding of modern AI and developer ecosystems. Success is measured not by follower counts but by developer activation and retention, quality projects built with H, API/SDK adoption, community-generated content, developer advocates created, and ultimately, whether talented developers choose to build with H because of the community you've created.
