Workstream is a mission-driven Series B company building an all-in-one HR, payroll, and hiring platform for the hourly workforce. With 2.7 billion hourly workers making up 80% of the global workforce, Workstream is purpose-built to serve this underserved market. The company counts leading brands like Burger King, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers as customers and is backed by top-tier VCs including Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue.
You will join as Head of Brand & Product Marketing, owning how Workstream is positioned, launched, and remembered as the company expands from a vertical SaaS leader into an AI-native platform for the entire frontline workforce. This is a building role, not a maintenance one. You'll run product marketing, brand, content, and design as one integrated team, report directly to revenue leadership, and see your work impact the pipeline within weeks.
Key responsibilities include: owning Workstream's positioning and messaging end-to-end, including the strategic question of leading with restaurant dominance versus the broader frontline-workforce narrative; running go-to-market launches for a portfolio that ships AI products (like an AI assistant for frontline teams) alongside hiring, HR, and payroll; leading content and design across the website, case studies, video, webinars, and social; arming sales teams with competitive teardowns, ROI stories, and customer proof; and managing a small, high-output team of product marketers, content marketers, and designers while being the strongest individual contributor when needed.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with testing over debating. The role is 4 days per week in-office in San Francisco. Workstream supports relocation and visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
