Payra is building a Revenue Automation Platform that helps businesses automate how they get paid and manage their books—from customer onboarding and invoicing to payments, cash application, collections, and reconciliation. The company is growing quickly and seeking a Head of Brand and Product Marketing to own how Payra looks, sounds, launches products, and shows up in the market. Your mandate is to make Payra easy to understand, impossible to ignore, and one of the most recognized brands in its category. You'll work directly with founders, product, sales, and design teams to translate what's being built into compelling stories, launches, creative assets, sales materials, and market awareness. Key responsibilities include: **Product Storytelling & Launches**: Work with product and engineering to understand new releases and translate them into clear positioning, messaging, launch campaigns, website updates, product videos, demos, graphics, sales collateral, customer communications, social campaigns, founder content, sales enablement, PR opportunities, and more. Your job is to ensure great features don't disappear into changelogs—the market should understand why they matter. **Positioning & Messaging**: Own the narrative around Payra and its Revenue Automation Platform. Take complicated technology and turn it into simple, compelling messaging that resonates with CFOs, controllers, finance teams, and target industries. Ensure consistency across the website, social, videos, and all touchpoints so audiences quickly understand what Payra does, why it matters, and why it's different. **PR, Media & Market Awareness**: Build a constant drumbeat of Payra visibility across industry media, trade publications, podcasts, founder interviews, contributed articles, press releases, customer wins, partnerships, awards, conferences, LinkedIn, and analyst relationships. Create reasons for people to talk about Payra and get those stories into the market. **Brand & Creative Direction**: Own how Payra looks and feels. Set creative standards across the company and direct designers and creative partners on website, product marketing, sales decks, customer stories, advertising, social, events, video, and recruiting materials. You need exceptional taste and the ability to immediately assess whether creative work is good enough. **Sales Enablement**: Give the sales team the best materials in the market. Own the story and creative direction behind sales presentations, product one-pagers, customer case studies, demos, competitive materials, and industry-specific collateral. Salespeople should immediately understand new launches and have everything needed to take them to market. **Customer Stories & Company Momentum**: Turn company wins, product launches, partnerships, integrations, and milestones into awareness and credibility. Build systems for turning progress into stories that help win the next customer and reinforce platform understanding. **Website & Digital Presence**: Own Payra's online presentation. Visitors should immediately understand what Payra does, see platform breadth, understand differentiation, and see evidence that serious companies trust the platform. Continuously improve messaging, product presentation, proof, visuals, and digital experience. **Conferences & Industry Presence**: Own creative direction for events, including booth concepts, messaging, signage, collateral, product demos, customer events, speaking opportunities, and pre/post-event storytelling. Make sure Payra is memorable at every event. This is not a traditional corporate marketing role with a large team or finished playbook. It's also not primarily performance marketing focused on Google Ads, attribution, or MQL volume. You'll be hands-on, moving quickly, and building the brand and story from the ground up. **Requirements**: The posting emphasizes what you've built over previous titles. Ideal candidates have several of these qualities: exceptional instincts around positioning and product storytelling; ability to explain complicated software simply; exceptional creative taste and high standards; strong writing and editing skills; experience launching and marketing software products; experience directing designers and creative partners; understanding of PR, media, and communications; experience turning product releases and milestones into market campaigns; understanding of how great B2B technology companies build brands; ability to create sales collateral that helps salespeople sell; instinct for turning company momentum into compelling stories; understanding of social media, events, content, PR, and distribution; comfort working directly with founders and senior leadership; ability to move quickly without established playbooks; willingness to be hands-on and make things happen. Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, B2B software, or high-growth technology companies is a plus but not required.
