Nivoda is a B2B marketplace connecting jewellery retailers and gemstone suppliers globally, with 400+ employees. The company is rebuilding its GTM (go-to-market) infrastructure to replace manual processes, disconnected tools, and fragile handoffs with reliable systems and automation.
You will join the Data & Financial Platform team, working closely with the Head of Data, experienced engineers, and GTM stakeholders. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on systems integration and automation across Nivoda's platform ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating unclear process requests from GTM stakeholders into clear technical requirements and implementation approaches
- Building integrations, customer/prospect event flows, automations, and changes to the GTM Engine using APIs, webhooks, queues, scheduled workflows, and small services
- Making build-vs-buy-vs-configure decisions based on the problem, preferring native platform capabilities first, then tooling/middleware, then custom code
- Building production-ready systems from the start with proper testing, failure handling, retries, and monitoring
- Shipping and supporting work using version control, code review, and safe deployment practices
- Integrating with Salesforce, other platform owners, and the Commercial Data Analyst team
- Documenting flows, decisions, and recovery steps to reduce single-point-of-failure dependencies
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years in software, systems, or integration engineering with shipped integrations or services using APIs, webhooks, or event-driven systems
- Solid programming in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript; working SQL; Git and code review proficiency
- Experience integrating business systems (CRM, payments, finance, marketing, operations platforms); Salesforce experience helpful but not required
- Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders, challenge unclear requests, and translate needs into buildable solutions
- Quick learning of unfamiliar systems with ability to choose simple, production-ready solutions
- Proactive thinking about failure cases (unavailable APIs, duplicate records, conflicting updates)
Nice-to-have skills include marketplace or SMB sales experience, hands-on iPaaS/workflow tools (n8n, Zapier, Workato), familiarity with Snowflake, Customer.io, Gong, Clay, or cloud runtimes/CI/CD/observability tools.
Nivoda offers flexible working hours, private health insurance, growth opportunities, flexible compensation (meals, transport, childcare), unlimited holiday, and the chance to join during exponential expansion.
