OpenAI's GTM Strategy & Growth team is seeking a strategic, hands-on individual contributor to help shape the growth and scaling of the B2B business across products, customer segments, and routes to market. You will work at the intersection of product strategy, growth, and operations, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Success, Data Science, Finance, and Marketing teams. The role spans both strategic and operational domains—from defining long-term growth bets and commercial strategy to building launch plans, tracking performance, and driving cross-functional execution. Key Responsibilities: - Drive go-to-market strategy across products, customer segments, and routes to market, partnering with Product and GTM leaders to shape growth priorities and commercialization approaches - Develop goals, launch success metrics, and operating KPIs for new initiatives; monitor performance with Data Science and Analytics teams - Develop growth strategies and strategic bets across new products, capabilities, customer motions, and market opportunities - Create customer segmentation frameworks and tailored strategies for different customer profiles, industries, and adoption stages - Partner with Product teams to provide structured customer feedback, market insights, and prioritization input for product roadmap decisions - Collaborate with Pricing, Finance, and Product teams to develop commercial models, packaging, and monetization strategies - Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to identify whitespace opportunities - Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align on priorities and execute business goals - Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve GTM strategy and operating plans based on data, customer insights, and market dynamics You should be highly analytical, comfortable working across a range of products and business problems, and experienced navigating complex cross-functional environments. Experience with technical or API-based products is valuable, but the most important qualities are strategic range, sound judgment, and the ability to turn customer, product, and market insights into practical recommendations and action. This role is based in the San Francisco office, 4-5 days per week. Qualifications: - Experience across GTM strategy, business operations, management consulting, product strategy, finance, or related functions in high-growth technology environments - Strong fluency in data and analytics, with the ability to define meaningful success metrics, interpret performance trends, and drive data-informed decision-making - Experience working across multiple products, customer segments, or routes to market; experience with technical or API-based products is a plus - Broad understanding of B2B GTM operating models across Sales, Success, Product, Marketing, and Operations - Demonstrated success contributing to complex cross-functional initiatives that span strategy, operations, and execution - Equally comfortable developing strategic recommendations, solving ambiguous problems, and diving into operational details to ensure strong execution - Strong product intuition and ability to partner with Product teams on roadmap prioritization, customer insights, and commercialization strategy - Experience developing or evaluating pricing, packaging, monetization, or broader commercial strategies in partnership with Product and Finance teams - Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and bring structure and clarity to complex business problems - Clear communicator and collaborative partner who can build alignment across technical and non-technical teams
