Mercor is an AI data company that organizes human intelligence to power the AI economy. The company operates a platform where millions of domain experts train frontier AI models, generating over $4 million per day in expert compensation. Mercor also serves Fortune 500 enterprises through its Enterprise offering, helping capture and translate expert work into AI agents. The company is a profitable Series C company valued at $10 billion. As GTM Recruiter, you will own full-cycle hiring for Mercor's revenue-driving teams: Growth, Data Acquisition, Account Executives, and Engagement Managers. This is a 0→1 recruiting motion—you'll build the playbook from scratch rather than inherit an existing process. Key responsibilities include: conducting full-cycle recruiting for Sales, Partnerships/Business Development, and Growth teams; assessing candidates for GTM-specific competencies (quota attainment, deal-cycle ownership, territory fluency, consultative selling); building top-of-funnel through creative outbound and talent intelligence; coaching hiring managers on structured interviewing and leveling; operationalizing hiring systems and tracking funnel metrics; driving speed and quality in decision-making and offers; representing Mercor's brand externally to compete for top GTM talent; and collaborating on dashboards and process automation. You should have full-cycle recruiting experience specifically for GTM roles (Account Executives, Data Acquisition, Growth Associates). You need fluency in what makes strong GTM hires, proven ability to build and scale hiring systems with data-driven decision-making, high execution orientation, strong communication skills, and confidence representing the brand to candidates. Experience with Ashby or similar recruiting platforms is expected. Nice-to-haves include recruiting experience at AI, SaaS, or enterprise software companies; founding recruiter or early-stage startup experience; interest in human data and AGI; and comfort with shifting priorities across business functions. Ideal qualities: agility and adaptability to move fast and pivot with business needs; operational rigor to bring order to unstructured environments; growth mindset to learn in a frontier industry; outcome-focused ownership mentality; and genuine enthusiasm for building best-in-class GTM talent acquisition.
