Anthropic is seeking a GTM Programs Manager to own strategic, cross-functional go-to-market initiatives end-to-end. This is a high-autonomy individual contributor role focused on solving critical GTM challenges that span Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Revenue Operations, Enablement, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships.
You will start with ambiguous problems—sometimes from senior leaders, sometimes from data signals—and transform them into structured analysis and defensible solutions. You'll work with subject-matter experts across the company to design programs, then drive execution from strategy through planning, launch, operationalization, results, and iteration. The work ranges from large cross-functional programs to focused SWAT efforts on urgent questions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own a portfolio of strategic GTM programs end-to-end, each addressing a business problem (e.g., customer activation, seller efficiency, model launches) from scoping through launch and results
- Act as a thought partner to Sales and GTM leaders to identify, scope, and prioritize high-impact programs
- Turn ambiguous problems into structured analysis, defensible models, and clear plans with owners, milestones, and decision points
- Align and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Revenue Operations, Enablement, Finance, Legal, and Partnerships
- Engage senior executives on program status and outcomes
- Manage change adoption by the field and define/report success metrics (adoption, time-to-value, productivity impact)
- Use AI tools daily to analyze, model, and build faster
- Create templates, cadence, and reporting processes to support future program launches
You'll operate with high autonomy on the most critical GTM questions Anthropic faces, bringing stakeholders along while moving quickly to the right answer. Success is measured by better, faster decision-making for customers and the field.
Requirements:
- Led complex cross-functional programs from problem definition through delivery in strategy consulting, strategy & operations, GTM/sales programs, or program management
- Track record of turning ambiguous problems into clear, defensible recommendations
- Driven initiatives to completion across teams you don't manage, including when senior stakeholders disagreed
- Strong analytical skills: building business cases, quantitative modeling, defining targets, pulling and analyzing data from CRM and BI tools
- Clear written and verbal communication with experience presenting analysis to senior and executive audiences
- Working understanding of how enterprise sales organizations operate
- Built programs or processes from scratch and owned outcomes through to results
- Motivated by Anthropic's mission to develop safe and beneficial AI
Preferred qualifications:
- Background in strategy consulting followed by in-house role building and running programs and strategic projects
- Experience running sales or GTM programs with measured results (pipeline, activation, adoption, launch)
- Experience within sales operating cadence (forecast calls, pipeline reviews, sales planning, product launches)
- Hands-on daily experience with AI tools, including building workflows with Claude or similar
- Experience at companies selling technical or AI products
- Experience as an early hire in a new team or function
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience in a field relevant to the role.
