Parallel is a web infrastructure company that enables leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with flexible programmatic access to the web. The company has raised $230 million from top-tier VCs including Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, and Khosla Ventures, and is valued at $2 billion. You will lead a sales team within Parallel's go-to-market organization, working alongside world-class GTM leaders and individual contributors. This is a hands-on role where you'll carry a piece of the pipeline yourself, running discovery and closing cycles so your coaching is grounded in doing the work. You'll be responsible for sharpening playbooks for your team's motion, building the ramp and coaching rhythm that gets new reps productive quickly, and scaling the team as pipeline grows. Key responsibilities include partnering with the head of Recruiting to build a high-performing team, collaborating with the head of GTM on market segmentation, and owning accountability for pipeline coverage, ramp time, and win rates across your team. You'll create your own pipeline rather than waiting for it to be handed to you, and you'll focus on building reps up rather than carrying them through deals. You bring at least 3 years of sales leadership experience, whether in an AI-native environment, mid-market motion, or enterprise sales. You're comfortable flexing between high-velocity and high-stakes selling. You understand how to run volume without sacrificing quality, and you can navigate conversations with technical buyers like CTOs and VPs. You have enough technical fluency to discuss LLMs, agents, and RAG without needing a technical co-pilot. You're self-directed, allergic to hand-holding, and prefer to take an existing team further rather than inherit a blank slate. Parallel operates fully in-person between its Palo Alto headquarters and San Francisco office. The organization is flat and talent-dense, focused on solving technical and creative problems with big outcomes. The company values owning customer impact, obsessing over craft, accelerating change, creating win-wins, and making high-conviction bets.
