Parallel is a web infrastructure company that enables leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with programmatic access to the web. The company has raised $230 million from top-tier VCs (Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, Terrain) and is valued at $2 billion.
You will lead Parallel's AI-native sales team alongside world-class GTM leaders and individual contributors. This is a hands-on role where you'll carry a piece of the pipeline yourself, running discovery and closing cycles with technical, AI-forward buyers. Your coaching will be grounded in doing the work, not just observing it. You'll work with buyers shipping on model updates and rearchitecting their stacks quarterly—deal velocity moves at their release cycle pace, not yours.
Key responsibilities include: building the playbook for selling to teams already building with agents and LLMs; sharpening the ramp and coaching rhythm to get new reps productive quickly; scaling the team as pipeline grows; partnering with the head of Recruiting to build a world-class team; and collaborating with the head of GTM on segmentation. You're accountable for pipeline coverage, ramp time, and win rates across your team.
You have led a sales team for at least 3 years in an AI-native or fast-moving technical environment. You've sold to technical buyers—founders, engineers, ML leads—and can hold your own discussing LLMs, agents, and RAG without a technical co-pilot. You thrive when product specs, buyer use cases, and competitive landscapes shift simultaneously. You know how to coach reps through deals rather than doing them for them, and you'd rather build people up than carry them. You create your own pipeline and are self-directed. You want to take an existing team further, not start from scratch or inherit a fully solved function.
Parallel operates fully in-person between Palo Alto HQ and San Francisco office. The organization is flat and talent-dense, focused on solving technical and creative problems with science, creativity, and consistency.
