Read AI is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to build and scale its paid acquisition engine. The company has 5MM+ monthly active users, adds 50K+ new accounts daily, and maintains an 80% 30-day retention rate. Backed by $82M in funding from top-tier VCs, Read AI is transitioning from product-led growth to paid acquisition and needs a hands-on, analytical marketer to lead this expansion.
In this individual-contributor role reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will own B2C paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, Bing, TikTok, and Reddit. Key responsibilities include managing and scaling paid spend with clear accountability for CAC and ROAS; driving creative strategy through high-volume testing and optimization; building out an in-house user acquisition function to reduce agency reliance; developing attribution models and incrementality testing frameworks; and identifying new acquisition channels.
You will partner closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering to optimize landing pages, conversion funnels, and on-site experiences. Success is measured by scaling performance marketing spend to tens of millions with sustainable ROI, reducing CAC, improving ROAS, increasing creative testing velocity, and delivering measurable conversion rate improvements.
The ideal candidate has proven experience scaling paid acquisition to tens of millions in ad spend across multiple products or apps, with hands-on expertise building in-house UA functions rather than relying on agencies. You need strong expertise in Meta and Google platforms, a strong analytical mindset for building attribution models and interpreting complex datasets, demonstrated ability to execute creative-driven growth strategies, and a "growth hacker" mentality focused on experimentation and innovation.
