Counsel Health is building the first fully-vertical, AI-native medical group, with a mission to multiply the world's healthcare capacity through personalized, AI-enabled healthcare delivery. Founded in 2023, the company has raised over $35M from top-tier VCs including a16z and Google Ventures, and combines deep expertise in medicine (Harvard, Mt. Sinai, Mass General, UCSF) with technology talent from MIT, Google, DeepMind, NVIDIA, Stripe, and Meta.
As Growth Marketing Manager, you'll join the consumer marketing team as an early, foundational hire reporting directly to the VP of Consumer Marketing. This role is focused on building systems and processes to scale marketing learnings across a rapidly growing organization.
You'll own real marketing programs across paid, owned, and lifecycle channels. Responsibilities include writing copy, running campaigns, building reporting infrastructure, and being accountable for results. Initially a generalist role, you'll support programs across the full marketing stack including content, paid media, lifecycle, operations, and analytics. As the team and company scale, there will be opportunities to specialize.
Key areas of focus include: (1) Content & Creative—producing content across owned channels (blog, social, email) and building repeatable workflows that scale without adding headcount; (2) Paid Media—leading execution and optimization across paid social and paid search, building campaign infrastructure and testing frameworks; (3) Lifecycle Marketing—building and managing email and push programs with segmentation, sequencing, and performance optimization; (4) Reporting & Analytics—supporting performance reporting across D2C channels and translating data into actionable recommendations.
What makes this role distinct is the emphasis on leverage through AI tools. You'll design workflows, reach for automation before headcount, and build systems around repeatable tasks so your time stays on work requiring judgment. You'll have high agency to identify what needs to exist, build it, and operate it independently.
You'll have a direct reporting line to the VP of Consumer Marketing with real influence over how the D2C function gets built, broad exposure across the consumer marketing stack, and genuine growth opportunity as Counsel scales. Offices are in Boston (Back Bay) and New York (Flatiron); in-person is not required but NYC proximity is preferred.
