Banyan Software is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to own the end-to-end self-serve funnel for Teamup, a calendar application trusted by over 5 million monthly active users. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role on a flat team where you'll drive acquisition, activation, and conversion across the product.
Key responsibilities include building and amplifying in-product viral loops and word-of-mouth mechanisms in partnership with design and engineering. You'll lead the AI onboarding experience that activates new customers, own lifecycle email campaigns from signup through upgrade, and grow organic acquisition through SEO, GEO (geographic SEO), and AEO (AI-engine optimization) to ensure Teamup is discoverable wherever users and AI assistants search for scheduling solutions.
You'll drive information architecture and on-site conversion improvements, build upmarket intent by identifying where larger buyers evaluate solutions and ensuring Teamup's presence in those channels, and own key metrics including signups, activation rates, and self-serve free-to-paid conversion.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of growth or lifecycle marketing experience at product-led SaaS companies, with demonstrated results from in-product viral loops and self-serve conversion initiatives. You should have hands-on SEO expertise plus understanding of how AI-driven search is reshaping discovery. You're fluent in analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, email tools, light HTML/CSS, and daily AI tools. You excel at partnering with design and engineering to ship growth work embedded in the product itself, not just marketing campaigns around it.
You approach the funnel as a product you own, preferring to run ten small experiments over one large campaign, and you measure everything you ship. You build with AI daily because you want to, and you thrive in a data-driven, collaborative environment.
