Rho is a modern banking platform for startups, enabling account opening, card issuance, expense management, and financial operations in a single connected platform. This Growth Lead, Acquisition role owns the entire pre-customer funnel: the messaging, creative, and distribution systems that convert attention into funded accounts.
This is an individual contributor role with significant technical ownership. You'll write production-ready code using Rho's internal coding agent, ship features through the same review process as engineering, and pull in design and engineering partners as needed—not manage reports.
Key responsibilities include building acquisition surfaces (message-matched landing pages, interactive diagnostics, standalone tools like calculators and benchmarks), operating a creative supply engine that multiplies winning concepts into dozens of variants using agents and automation, building research systems that monitor competitor ads and harvest customer language from sales calls and communities, and engineering launch distribution as a repeatable machine. You'll own traffic quality as a product problem, define qualified application metrics upstream, work with growth engineering on first-party measurement, and verify all published claims meet regulatory standards for a banking platform.
You'll be accountable for one metric: new funded accounts (not raw applications). Success requires understanding how ranking systems work, what platforms reward as engagement, and how to manufacture signal authentically. You spec, build, and ship your own code—no handoffs to other teams' sprints.
The role demands 5+ years in growth, acquisition, or product-led growth with ownership of a pipeline or revenue number. You should have demonstrated ability to make something spread on the internet and explain the mechanism (hook, channel, distribution). You need strong instincts for platforms and audiences, the ability to recruit internal participation and creator networks for launch amplification, hands-on experience building with agents and automation, rigor in measurement and SQL, and the ability to write sharp, compliant claims for regulated industries.
