The Growth Account Manager role is part of the EMEA Growth team, focused on driving growth and retention of the SME customer segment. You will manage a portfolio of existing customers, identifying opportunities for product utilization and providing day-to-day support to enable their success.
Key responsibilities include proactively generating new revenue opportunities through targeted outreach campaigns and discovery calls; promoting effective platform usage and identifying at-risk customers; educating customers on the full Airwallex product suite (Collect, Manage, Spend) through lifecycle marketing campaigns; advocating for customer needs internally; leveraging customer support and product usage data to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities; and serving as a primary point of contact for resolving customer issues in collaboration with support and operations teams.
You will work cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, marketing, finance, and strategy teams. The role emphasizes building multi-stakeholder relationships, driving product adoption, and hitting commercial KPIs in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Required qualifications: 3+ years in account management or CSM roles (preferably at fast-growing tech startups or fintech); strong English communication skills; proven track record building customer loyalty and driving product adoption; ability to thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments; bachelor's degree; self-starter mentality for managing your own book of business.
Preferred: fintech background; fluency in German and/or Spanish; experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Claude/ChatGPT, Looker, or Outreach.
