Read AI is a venture-backed AI platform that brings intelligence to team collaboration across meetings, messages, and email. The company has raised $82M from top-tier investors (Smash Capital, Madrona, Goodwater Capital) and is recognized as a Top Startup in Seattle.
You will be Read AI's first Portuguese-speaking Growth Account Executive, leading expansion into Brazil's rapidly growing user base. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle with flexibility for the right candidate, requiring periodic travel for onboarding and team events.
You'll own the complete sales cycle: prospecting into the existing free user base to identify high-potential companies, mapping decision-makers, conducting discovery and product demos, and closing deals to convert product-led growth into paid revenue. You'll work both inbound leads and outbound prospecting, with the primary growth opportunity coming from untapped accounts in the Brazilian market.
Key responsibilities include: running full sales cycles with Portuguese- and English-speaking customers; building and testing the Brazil sales playbook from scratch (outbound angles, messaging, pipeline sources); localizing internal sales materials into Portuguese; serving as the voice of the Brazilian customer base to leadership and product teams; and maintaining accurate CRM records.
You should have 1–3 years of closing experience with strong performance metrics. The ideal candidate is a builder energized by creating something from nothing, curious about AI tools, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment. You're collaborative, seek feedback actively, and move without being told. Fluent Brazilian Portuguese and professional English (written and spoken) are required. SaaS/tech sales experience, prior work with Brazilian buyers, product-led growth conversion experience, and familiarity with distributed teams are nice-to-haves.
On-target earnings: $90,000–$125,000 annually (base + quarterly performance commissions). Strong preference for Seattle-based candidates; open to others with willingness to travel periodically.
