Vanta is seeking a GRC Solutions Engineer to join the pre-sales team in the EMEA region, based in London or Dublin with a hybrid schedule (Tuesday–Thursday in-office). This role bridges technical expertise and customer strategy, serving as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers navigating GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) implementations.
You will partner closely with Account Executives to conduct strategic discovery, uncover technical and business pain points, and validate that Vanta's platform aligns with customer needs. Your responsibilities include delivering tailored, narrative-driven demonstrations that showcase how Vanta automates GRC programmes across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. You'll validate technical feasibility, guide stakeholders toward shared success criteria, and ensure a seamless handoff to the post-sales team with comprehensive solution documentation.
This is an ideal role for GRC professionals—whether you've managed GRC programmes in-house, worked as an internal or external auditor, or supported customers at a GRC vendor. You'll apply domain expertise in a strategic, customer-facing capacity while collaborating cross-functionally to provide market feedback that shapes product priorities.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience (solutions engineering, sales engineering, GRC consulting, or equivalent) in B2B SaaS environments. You must be a strategic problem solver with deep technical proficiency, exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). General knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript) and familiarity with REST APIs and service integrations are expected. Prior cybersecurity or GRC experience is strongly preferred. You should be detail-oriented, organised, and open to leveraging AI to amplify your skills and efficiency.
