Vanta is seeking a GRC Solutions Engineer to join the EMEA sales team, based in Dublin with a hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesday–Thursday). This role bridges technical expertise and sales strategy, serving as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers navigating GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) implementations.
You will partner closely with Account Executives to uncover technical, operational, and business pain points, validate use cases, and shape solutions aligned to measurable customer impact. Key responsibilities include conducting strategic discovery and deal qualification, delivering tailored technical demonstrations that showcase how Vanta automates GRC programmes across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA, validating technical feasibility and integrations, and ensuring seamless handoffs to post-sales teams.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer, GRC consultant, or equivalent B2B SaaS role. You should possess deep technical proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud application architecture. Hands-on knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript), REST APIs, and service integrations is expected. Prior experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or audit is highly valued.
Beyond technical skills, success requires exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, customer-centric empathy, and collaborative deal-shaping mindset. You'll act as a strategic problem solver, identifying feasibility and risks while guiding stakeholders toward alignment. The role also involves cross-functional feedback to the Product team and supporting customers through trial processes.
