Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people globally to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. The company was recently named Chrome Extension of the Year by Google and received Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity. With nearly 200 employees distributed globally, Speechify combines talent from major tech companies (Amazon, Microsoft, Google), leading academic institutions (Stanford), and high-growth startups (Stripe, Vercel, Bolt). SIMBA Voice Agents, a product line by Speechify, enables companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. The company pairs every customer with a Forward Deployed Engineer who builds custom agents, integrates with their team, and iterates weekly. In this Account Executive / Go-to-Market role, you will own the complete sales cycle for new mid-market and enterprise customers, from initial prospecting through contract close. You'll conduct technically deep discovery calls to understand customer use cases, technology stacks, and integration requirements. A key differentiator of this role is the expectation to get hands-on: you'll build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during the sales process to accelerate customer buy-in and demonstrate feasibility. You'll partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sales to onboarding and customer success. Beyond individual deals, you'll develop GTM playbooks, messaging frameworks, and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new vertical markets. You'll represent customer feedback internally, influencing product roadmap and packaging decisions. Pipeline management and revenue forecasting in CRM are core responsibilities. Ideal candidates bring 3–8 years of sales, account executive, or GTM experience at technical B2B companies. You should have a proven track record closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. Comfort with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build demos is essential. A strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape is required—you should actively follow this space. You must be an exceptional communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth, and you need strong pipeline discipline and a bias toward action. Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior work in forward deployment or solutions engineering; and multilingual capabilities or experience in international markets. This is a high-ownership role with direct input on GTM strategy and positioning. You'll sell a product with genuinely impressive capabilities (sub-second latency, 71+ languages) and work alongside a team deeply embedded with customers, ensuring you're never selling something that doesn't deliver.
