Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built the world's leading text-to-speech platform, used by over 50 million people. The company was recently named Chrome Extension of the Year by Google and won Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
This role focuses on SIMBA Voice Agents by Speechify, a product that enables companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Each customer receives a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer who builds their agents, joins their Slack, and iterates weekly.
As an Account Executive / Go-to-Market professional, you will own the complete sales cycle for new mid-market and enterprise customers, from initial prospecting through contract close. You'll conduct technically deep discovery calls to understand customer use cases, tech stacks, and integration requirements. A key differentiator of this role is the expectation that you'll get hands-on during the sales process—building and demoing custom voice agent prototypes to accelerate customer buy-in and demonstrating how SIMBA fits into their specific world.
You'll partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sales to onboarding, develop GTM playbooks and messaging strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, and represent customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging decisions. Pipeline management and revenue forecasting are core responsibilities.
Ideal candidates bring 3–8 years of sales, account executive, or GTM experience at technical B2B companies, with a proven track record of closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, have a strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape, and excel at simplifying complex technical concepts without losing depth. Self-direction, pipeline discipline, and a bias toward action are essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior experience in a forward deployment or solutions engineering capacity; and multilingual abilities or experience selling into international markets.
