Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people globally to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. The company recently won Google's Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity. With ~200 employees distributed globally, Speechify is now scaling SIMBA Voice Agents, a product that enables companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency.
In this Account Executive / Go-to-Market role, you will own the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers—from initial prospecting through contract close. You'll combine traditional sales skills with technical depth, running discovery calls that dig into customer tech stacks and integration requirements. A key differentiator: you'll build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during the sales process to accelerate customer buy-in and reduce friction.
Your responsibilities include developing GTM playbooks and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, partnering with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sales to onboarding, and representing customer feedback internally to influence product roadmap and packaging decisions. You'll maintain pipeline discipline in CRM and forecast revenue accurately.
The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of B2B sales or account executive experience at technical companies, with a proven track record closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build demos. You have a strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape and can simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth. Experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology is a plus, as is familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms.
This is a high-ownership role with direct input on GTM strategy. You'll work alongside a team deeply embedded with customers, ensuring you're never selling something that doesn't deliver. The role offers competitive base salary ($105k–$140k), on-target earnings of $150k–$200k including commission, equity, and benefits in a fast-moving startup environment.
